Notice of Extra-Ordinary General Meeting of the Bemm River Angling Club Inc

The Bemm River Angling Club Incorporated (BRAC) is holding an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting in accordance with section 6 of the Constitution on 11 February 2026 at 7:pm at
7 Nautilus Court, Patterson Lakes, Melbourne, Victoria to consider the following special resolutions:
1/ To declare all committee positions vacant
2/ To elect a new committee consisting of
President
Vice president
Secretary/Treasurer or Separate Secretary and Treasurer
Publicity Officer / Weigh Master
Ordinary Committee members from none to a maximum of total of three
3/ To authorize the new committee, assume control of the bank account, finances, records and assets of the Bemm River Angling Club Incorporated (BRAC)
4/ To determine the fees for 2026
5/ Authorize the Committee to take any steps necessary to comply with the Victorian Department of Justice, Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) requirements to either retrospectively submit the financial statements not submitted since 2022, request for the requirements to be waived or any other solution as agreed with CAV.
6/ Alter the constitution section 20 vi from
“ All fish entered in competitions shall be taken to the nominated weigh-in point and weighed as caught.”
To
“All fish entered in competitions shall be taken to the nominated weigh-in point and measured or weighed as caught or, alternatively, the fish maybe measured on a measuring mat or device approved by the Weigh Master depending on the competition rules of the day.”
Other Information
Members may appoint another member as their proxy to vote and speak on their behalf. Proxy forms attached must in writing and signed by the member and received 2 days before the meeting to 7 Nautilus Court, Patterson Lakes, Melbourne, Victoria 3197 or email janebailey099@gmail.com
