The Bemm River Fishing Program usually includes the following events

Easter Competition

Purvis Shield which is a competition with the Marlo Angling Club in the latter part of the year with the event held in Marlo one year then Bemm River the next.  In 2025, it was held in Marlo and there was a narrow victory to the locals.

Lake Tyres Trip in November

Fishcare Day for the young children visiting Bemm River over the Christmas Holidays.

Christmas Competition

There are also boards in the Bemm River Hotel on which we hope to restart the annual biggest fish.  To enable catch and release it is hoped to change them to the longest fish rather than the heaviest fish.  As the larger flathead must be released, this will enable the biggest flathead to be recorded.
