The Lake level remains high, it is still very dry, even after 30 mls of rain. Not a lot has changed this week, with good prospects in the River.

It could be an early season, with the River providing anglers with shelter from the current run of cold and wet conditions.

Spring is almost here, with many changes happening. Anglers will be challenged by these conditions, and prevailing weather will dictate what the best option becomes.

Lure anglers are having some success with a variety of plastics in the River, Channel and Lake.

Conditions hopefully will change, but regular visitors will know what to do. We are hoping for follow up rain to get the Lake full and open for the spring.
